Manufacturing Engineer (Process) Job Description
Overall Purpose
Prepare manufacturing process routings in Manufacturing area, including machining, welding and quality areas by establishing the necessary tools, devices and verifiers in order to ensure the components are manufactured by using a safe, efficient & productive process and as defined by the specific standards and procedures. Investigate ways to continually improve methods and processes of manufacturing.

Responsibilities for each activity area:Manufacturing Process Routings - Determine and prepare written manufacturing instructions and revise all the documents issued whenever required;
- Develop and qualify manufacturing processes;
- Manage the PRT in routing: jigs, tools and fixtures lists;
- Draw up operation plans;
- Prepare alternative routings
- Accountable for modifications of routing as result of the part number revisions;
- Analyze the BOM documents related to:
- Material specifications
- General and performing drawings;
- Specifications and instructions of heat treatment welding, coating /plating processes, marking, cladding instructions,
- Quality plans requirements (QP);
- Establish dimensions and quality requests for raw materials according to the material specifications;
- Establish both basic data for each operation (work centers, process time for each operation) as well as establish the external operations in order to ensure the BOM documentation requirements;
- Actively participation in production meetings as well as other meetings whenever his attendance is required;
- Prepare and present specific training material to the new hires as well as to the existing staff and ensure personnel has been trained.
Jigs, Tools and Fixtures - Determine jigs, tools and fixtures needed in the manufacturing of products;
- Prepare quotations of jigs, tools and fixtures in order to ensure the manufacturing of the components according to the execution drawings.
Health, Safety and Environment - Ensure the effective implementation of the HSE Policy and the HSE Management System requirements within their activity;
- Meet the potential significant HSE aspects, high risk activities and impacts of their job on the environment;
- Comply with all HSE and Fire Prevention rules and regulations applicable at the workplace;
- Attend periodical HSE and Emergency Response trainings established for his position held;
- Participate at the HSE monthly inspection programs;
- Participate at employees’ behavior evaluation program, using “Behavior Base Safety Process”;
- Create and record in the system HSE observations & suggestions;
- Notify immediately the direct supervisor about any incident, accident or environmental pollution occurred and take immediate actions to avoid or limit the consequences;
- Promote mutual respect, keep workplace clean and safe and participate to safety programs;
- Wear and use the PPE specific to each working area;
- Responsible for the health and safety of self and others.
Quality - Apply and respect all quality activities and processes related to position, according to customer requirements and Cameron Quality Management system ;
- Propose updates to procedures and work instructions, when appropriate;
- Ensure the corrective actions implementations established after system audits, for which they are responsible, within specified deadlines.
Continuous Improvement - Participate in Kaizen events, Lean Six Sigma training sessions and submit suggestions for improvement related to its own work place and events that may affect product quality;
- Utilize the Lean Six Sigma tools to help the improvement processes in support of business objectives;
- Ensure a continuous improvement within his area of concern;
- Develop and implement improvement projects by following the 3C philosophy;
- Follow the 6S principles related to the workplace (sorting, set in order, shine, standardize, sustain, safety).

Manufacturing Engineer (Process) Job Requirements
- Experience working heavy manufacturing or oil and gas
- Knowledge of Production System
- Technical understanding of manufacturing process including CNC operations, tooling & fixturing, programming
- Knowledge on Machining , CNC operations
- Knowledge of off line CNC programming system EdgeCam and Autodesk products
- AutoCAD and Inventor would be a distinct advantage,
- Knowledge on Assembly, Testing, Painting
- Knowledge on special processes (e.g. Shot/ blast)
- Experience in Machining Work center utilization
- Experience using manufacturing engineering programs/ software (EdgeCam, Vericut)
- Experience working with ERP/MRP systems – SAP Advantage
- Computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Technical University Degree
- English language
