The company mainly explores and develops new technologies for the intelligent management of information within companies. With the Information Workbench™ provides fluid Operations a customizable platform for the development of Linked Data applications. The solution supports the semantic integration of data from different sources, collaborative knowledge management and semantic search in the entire database.
To support our growing company we are looking for our office in Walldorf several Research and Development Engineers with experience in semantic technologies.
Job Description
As a Research and Development Engineer, you will support us in the research and development of innovative Linked Data applications in the cloud.
In the Research and Development you will be responsible for:
• the provision of semantic applications in the cloud
• the management of large amounts of data semantic resources in the cloud
• the application of semantic technologies for the management of Enterprise Clouds

• researching and developing new concepts and theories

We expect from you
• A Master of Science or a degree in computer science or a neighboring discipline, PhD is a plus
• Knowledge of semantic web technologies and standards (RDF, OWL, SPARQL)
• Excellent knowledge of design patterns, service-oriented architectures, database technologies, Web services, etc.
• Very good Java programming skills
• Knowledge of enterprise architectures is a plus
• experience in cloud computing technologies is a plus
• High degree of personal responsibility in the implementation of new developments
• motivation, clear focus and high motivation; maker and team player mentality
• Good command of spoken and written English
