Design Engineer Job Description

Works in project teams on design of sensors;
Is co-responsible for progress of the project;
Stays in contact with customers and suppliers on a regular basis;
Models magnetic circuits using FEA;
Designs mechanical models using SolidWorks;
Proves design concept by prototype design measurements.

Design Engineer Job Requirements

Educational requirements:
MA education level, mechanical or electrical engineering or applied physics, with 0 - 3 years relevant experience;
BA education level, mechanical or electrical engineering or applied physics with 0 - 3 years relevant experience.

Additional requirements:
Experience in the area of product design or R&D;
Good communication skills, written and verbally, in English and Dutch language is an advantage; Teamplayer, able to work in multidisciplinary projects teams;
Knowledge of MS-Office software (Word, Windows, Excel and Outlook);
Pro-active attitude;
Prepared to work abroad on a regular basis;
Capable of setting priorities;
Enjoys facing challenges;
Result Oriented.
