Team Leader Design Drive Systems Job Description

• As Team Leader Design Drive Systems you co-ordinate the lay-out, design, and drawing activities for belt drives and related systems for combines, and propose new and innovative development concepts in order to improve the process.
• You represent your team in various meetings (HR meeting, development review meeting, production meeting, ...).
• You manage the belt drives BOM (Bill Of Materials) and updates within the related tools (TcAE, EC, ...).
• As Team Leader Design Drive Systems you consult the chief engineers and propose a course of action regarding the content of projects assigned to you and the necessary resources for their implementation, in consistence with project and product objectives.
• You apply the appropriate engineering techniques in order to define qualitative and reliable designs and to make design problem solving calculations.
• You take the production processes and technology into account while producing cost effective designs that meet the ruling safety and environmental regulations.
• As Team Leader Design Drive Systems you also follow-up all sub-contracted activities to ensure the timely and efficient execution of project tasks.
• Furthermore, you stay abreast of new technological developments and evolving field practices through field contacts and meetings.

Team Leader Design Drive Systems Job Requirements

Your profile: 

• As Team Leader Design Drive Systems you have a master degree engineering sciences or applied sciences.
• You have experience with drive systems and related components.
• You work equally well independently as in team.
• You have excellent oral and written communication skills.
• As Team Leader Design Drive Systems you have no problems working with Microsoft Office and a good knowledge of IT-systems.
• You are fluent in English and Dutch.  A basic knowledge of French and German is an asset.
• You are willing to travel to other factories and field test sites 2 to 6 weeks annually.
• Experience with Pro-E, TcAE, FMEA and testing procedures is desired.
