We’re EA—the world’s largest video game publisher. You’re probably familiar with many of our titles—Madden, FIFA, The Sims, Need for Speed, Dead Space, Battlefield and Star Wars, to name a few. But maybe you don’t know how we’re committed to creating games for every platform—from social to mobile to console—to give our consumers that anytime, anywhere access they demand. What does that mean for you? It means more opportunities to unleash your creative genius, be inspired by those around you and ignite your path in any direction you choose.
The future looks even brighter as EA shapes the future of interactive entertainment by capitalizing on its collective talent around the Globe through the sharing of knowledge and technology within the company. EATech in Guildford is a growing team that plays a critical role in this, providing a world-class cross-platform physics engine and features that directly drive innovation in EA’s key franchises. This is developed using an internal Open Source model that invites the company’s best engineers to contribute. A recent EA wide celebration of excellence included that “the EA Tech team are the unsung heroes, and responsible for pushing the boundaries of quality and innovation for our company.” Following our recent success with franchises such as FIFA, Need For Speed, NHL and Skate, we are looking for highly motivated and talented graduates to join our high calibre group. You would be working as part of a small team, directly engaged with game teams around the globe to deliver outstanding physics innovation and performance on PS3, Xbox360, iPhone, iPad, Android and new platforms as they emerge. The role will include opportunities to grow your experience and skills as well as travel to other EA locations and work directly with our users.
