Xelvin is a specialist in the seconding of enterprising engineers. Xelvin owes its success to one important operating principle: it offers candidates and companies the power of freedom that comes from being able to make a conscious choice.
By being an open organization in which sincerely interested people enjoy a healthy amount of freedom, Xelvin forms a bond of trust that enables people to make conscious choices on their own. Not premeditated choices or ready-made choices that are generated by up-front efficiency processes, but choices that are based on a set of unique factors and could not have been made in any other way. Choices that candidates and companies can, in all honesty, call their own.

The department for Mechatronics is responsible for the specification, design, integration and qualification of the mechatronics sub-systems and components which are fitted into end products. The main focus of the department is on intelligent motion control of high speed components. Control engineering, dynamics, actuator design, position measurement systems and material handling are part of this department’s main competences.
Job Mission
To contribute to the development of products by specification, design, technical budget analysis, critical component selection, integration & test planning and test execution of mechatronic components or subsystems.
Job Description
Work in multidisciplinary project teams, aimed at design of mechatronic module. Specification of subsystem and/or its components. Architectural design and trade-offs between mechanical, electronic, software competencies within the various departments. Has specialist knowledge in one of the fields control, dynamics, position measurement or actuator systems and basic knowledge in the remainder of these areas. Overall technical budget analysis. Selection of critical components and technologies and integration and test of the module. Documentation of specifications, design, and test results.
Educational Level
Technical University Masters or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics or Mechanical engineering.
Theoretical and practical experience with position measurement systems, handling systems, control engineering, actuator design, dynamics. Experience in development projects and familiarity with translating mechanical concepts to requirements for both actuators and control software is a pre. Experience in multidisciplinary project work involving mechatronics, electronics and software within high tech industry is an advantage.
Personal Skills
