Currently we are looking at our site in Bergheim near Cologne for an Engineer Chemical Engineering (m/f)
In this responsible position among your duties:
• Conceptual Design and planning of plant modifications and new production units in close collaboration with the production and design department
• Continuous improvement of manufacturing processes to increase production effectiveness, reduce costs and comply with environmental and safety standards
• Support the production on procedural matters - Troubleshooting
• Evaluation of improved processing technologies, particularly of new installations
• Expansion of technological know-how through cooperation with internal and external partners
• Coordination and implementation of commissioning and operational tests
We expect for this position:
• Successfully completed a university degree (University / TH) with emphasis on process engineering or a related discipline
• Several years experience in the field of process technology
• Sound knowledge in the field of chemical engineering and desirable experience in the field of solid-liquid separation and bulk handling
• Conceptual and analytical thinking
• High level of problem solving skills
• joy of collaboration within a team
• Independent, conceptual and goal-oriented manner
• Good knowledge of English written and spoken
