Position Description
Research & Development of Océ (± 800 employees) is responsible for the development of competitive high end printers, print technologies, services & software for professional customers. Within R&D our Mechanical Development delivers an important contribution to our product development projects. In our projects they are responsible for the mechanical and mechatronic designs of our print systems. For one of these departments we are looking for a

Your job
You are part of one of our product development teams. In multidisciplinary teams we develop our print systems of the future.
In discussion with architects, you define and translate the demands of the market into functional requirements. You translate them in technical solutions and concepts. In your ideas you have properly balanced the product requirements like speed, quality, accuracy and costs. You discuss your ideas with your project team, and together you develop feasible designs with smart creative solutions. With all stakeholders you review your design. Therefore you build convincing prototypes to proof the feasibility of the routes you have identified.

Who are we looking for?
• Master or PhD in Mechanical Engineering
• Having 0-5 years relevant work experience
