Senior Mechanical Engineer for Product and Technology Development    

THE OPPORTUNITY

You will join the Product and Technology team within the Research and Development department, based in the French part of Switzerland.

Specifically, you will:

• Identify appropriate mechanical design options.
• Plan and design verification tests to demonstrate product compliance to functional specifications.
• Organize resources for the production.
• Analyze performance and drive continuous improvement of our new products based on 'quality by design' standards consistent with medical or consumer electronics devices.
• Liaise with external project partners on technical aspects that relate to outsourced electronic device development.
• Protect intellectual property by filing invention disclosures on technological innovations.

Senior Mechanical Engineer for Product / Technology Development Job Requirements

Your qualifications:

• A Masters degree in mechanical engineering or a technical diploma (EPF)
• At least 10 years product-related design experience in relevant manufacturing industries, such as:

• Expertise in CAD drawing
• Familiarity with Inventoror Solid Works packages would be an advantage.
• Expertise in machining and plastic molding technologies.
• Fluency in both spoken and written English is a must and French would be a strong advantage
