To strengthen our team in Research & Development at our location Oberkochen/Germany we are searching a System Engineer Mechatronics (m/f)
Your areas of responsibility are:
• Development of mechatronic nano-precision manipulators and -systems for lithography optics utilizing leading-edge technologies
• Concept development from the first idea until the successfully tested prototype including system definition and specification
• Lead of multidisciplinary concept teams together with technical and methodical coaching of colleagues
Your qualifications are:
• Master degree in engineering or physics with lots of practical experience in the development of high precision positioning systems
• Interdisciplinary „system-thinker“ with outstanding expertise in the areas of mechanical and thermal design, dynamics and control systems, actuators and sensors, electronics and software. Basic understanding of technical optics is desired
• Ability to work in an highly dynamic environment involving a high level of technical risk and uncertainty
• High degree of initiative and motivation combined with a systematic and independent way of working
• Fluency in English (written and spoken). Basic German skills desired
