We are now looking for the Head of the Calibration Activities for the Chinese Subsidary in Shanghai.
The focus of your technical work, depending on skills and experience, will be on the fields of exhaust emissions, fuel economy, diagnostic functions or driveability You will develop, calibrate and validate the engine control unit in the vehicle and on the test station (dynamometer). This also includes test drives in different climatic zones. As Calibration Manager, you will be responsible for the technical work as well as the associated technical, organizational and financial coordination of projects and act as first point of contact for the customer. Furthermore you will be responsible for the growth of your department. Hiring young professionals will be daily work for you.
Candidates for this interesting and responsible position are graduated engineers with a background in EMS Calibration. The ideal candidate has acquired in-depth expertise in the field of the application or thermodynamics of gasoline engines after completing his or her studies (engineering, automotive engineering, automatic control engineering, etc.). You are quite familiar with the relevant rules and regulations of exhaust gas legislation. You have experience with vehicle instrumentation, ideally also with vehicle exhaust studies on exhaust roller dynamometer test benches, test tracks and in refrigeration chambers. You should be able to work independently and creatively and exhibit a limitless willingness to transfer your knowledge and experiences to the team. The great variety of different projects also requires a high degree of flexibility. Good English and computer skills (MS Office) complete your profile.
