Power Electronics Engineer Megawatt (Hardware development) - Renewable Energies  

Location: North Rhine-Westphalia As partner of the personal total group we recruit for responsible functions of renowned industrial companies as permanent employments with a long-term perspective. Our client is a very well positioned, internationally successful manufacturer and expanding technology leader in energy technics. We offer an exciting function for the development of very essential electro technical products and components in the field of megawatt.

You are integrated as hardware developer in a dynamically working developer team. In close cooperation with the internal project leader you develop self-contained power electrical products like inverters, generators, turbines and controllers for renewable energy generation.

Your tasks are as follows:

• Build-up of testing devices for the development and assessment of inverters and generators
• Specification and dimensioning of power semiconductors, magnetic components, DC capacitors and driver circuits
• Development of secure realtime communication for CAN bus
• Developing of quality standards for the purchase of the specified parts
• Component simulation
• Complete definition and lead-through of laboratory tests

Your profile:
Based upon relevant studies (Master, Diploma or Bachelor) in electrical engineering, technical informatics, communications engineering or another similar field of studies you have already gained professional experiences in the development of inverters, converters, generators or turbines.

As personality you’re a „technology-freak“, who passionately likes to work in a not yet fully developed technical field and who wants to bring in his/her ideas. You have at least a good knowledge of English language, spoken and written. You only need a basic knowledge of German language.
