Senior Software Engineer Embedded Systems
Our client is a leading and established Swiss software services company in technical computer science. About 120 engineers at several locations in Switzerland specializing in implementing complex projects overall and in all phases of software engineering. For the office in Bern we are looking for a (m/f) Embedded Systems Software Engineer (Senior).
Tasks:
• Examine requirements for feasibility and complexity
• Exploring alternative solutions
• Create or select appropriate methods, standards and tools for software development
• To specify the system architecture
• Plan, evaluate, migrating systems
• Perform risk analysis
• Implementation and commissioning of software
• Technical leadership and project management
Your profile:
• A university degree (FH / ETH) with a major in computer science or electrical
• 7-10 years experience developing for embedded systems
• Deep knowledge of C, C++, STL, Linux and Real Time Operating Systems, Software Patterns, UML
• Possibly Interfaces expertise eg. Bluetooth, Mobile Device, Wi-Fi, etc.
• In addition to fluent German, good English language skills
• Flexibility, initiative
