Supply Chain Manager Job Description

• Leading the Supply Chain department which comprises of: warehousing and dispatch, customer services, planning, warehousing and dispatch as well as transportation
• Coordination of all necessary planning information from sales, purchase and production
• Planning capacity requirements on the basis of sales forecasts
• Development and implementation of the Supply Chain strategy
• Standardization and optimization of Supply to Chain processes
• Supervision and further development of internal and external logistics processes
• Ensuring the fulfillment of the KPI's of the Supply Chain management Definition, control and monitoring of optimal working capital levels
• Establishing coordinated corrective actions in case of interruptions in the supply chain
• Project work (national as well as international)

Supply Chain Manager Job Requirements

• Distinctive analytic and conceptual abilities
• High customer and service orientation
• Strong coordination and organization competences
• Assertiveness combined with a hands-on mentality (leading by example)
• High self-motivation
• Thinking like an entrepreneur
• Very good communication skills
• High level of language skills (English, French and preferable German)
• Good IT skills
• Experience in industry at least 5 years
• Wood-processing industry is an advantage
• University degree or equivalent focused on logistic and supply chain management
