Junior Release Officer Job Description

You have expertise in pharmaceutical quality control

For a global pharmaceutical company, we are looking for a Release Officer (Junior)

Tasks:
• Timely and GMP release decisions for dosage forms (bulk and finished product), according to product range of the Process Unit for which the Department of Quality Assurance (QA) bears the responsibility of decision
• GMP assessment and decision of deviation reports (AWMS) in dosage forms (bulk and finished product), possibly with the escalation of the decision levels for critical deviations to QA Compliance
• GMP compliant and timely execution of the quarantine shipment accordance with the applicable SOP
• Ensuring the correct and timely creation and according sending certificates of analysis (CoA), especially special investigations in problem cases
• Active monitoring of dates regarding release and escalation of delays within each Process Unit
• Support and implementation of internal and external audits and self-inspections
• Provide information / data for QA compliance (eg for APRs, quarterly reports, etc.)
• Representation of the QA / QC team leader in consultation with absences
• Participation in departmental tasks such as general inquiries, committees, working groups, etc.
• Creating and maintaining a-jour of SOPs which are related to your own responsibilities
• Training and education

Junior Release Officer Job Requirements

Requirements:
• University degree in Chemistry / Pharmacy / Biology / Medicine
• good knowledge of pharmaceutical technology GMP knowledge
• Computer literacy (MS Office)
• German and English spoken and written
• First experience in pharmaceutical quality control, quality assurance or production would be an advantage
