Application Support Engineer - Rotterdam

We are looking for an Application Support Engineer in the area of Rotterdam for a large multionational active in the oil and gas industry to configure and maintain basic configurations and applications in their systems. You have to take care of startup and commissioning support for their systems and small applications.

Job profile

As an Application Support Engineer you will be responsible for:

• Troubleshoot Distributed Control System (DCS) application failures/problems
• After evaluation of potential impact and risks, implementing the configuration and application changes
• Perform small system installations
• Support projects Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) and Site Acceptance Test (SAT)
• Perform service desk support for applications and configurations (both internal and external)

Application Support Engineer - Rotterdam Job Requirements

As an Application Surpport Engineer you will have the following qualifications:

• At least 3-5 years experience in Application Support Engineering
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent level in related field Computer Literate (MS Office, with excellent knowledge of Excel)
• Agreed to perform a 24/7 on-call service
• Familiar with industrial automation Products within the oil and gas market
• Verbal and written communication skills fluent in Dutch and English
• Currently living in the Netherlands, no relocation.
