You will join the Electronics Development team within the Research and Development department of our client. This are your activities: 

• Plan, design and perform functional testing of electronic devices with embedded software to demonstrate product compliance to functional specifications
• Prepare product quality test reports in accordance with design control requirements
• Liaise with subject matter experts in a timely manner to address any possible deficiencies or defects found during testing
• Provide analogue and digital electronic design expertise to support product development  within the design control requirements
• Liaise with external partners on the technical aspects relating to outsourced electronic device development projects. Liaise with the software development team to plan, define requirements, integrate and test embedded electronic systems
• Protect intellectual property by filing invention disclosures on technological innovations   

Senior Test- and Design Engineer Electronic Devices Job Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

• University degree or technical diploma in electronics engineering
• More then ten years product-related design experience in relevant manufacturing industries, such as Consumer Electronics, Medical Devices or Scientific Instruments
• Experience in managing and collaboration with external electronics development partners 
• Demonstrated electronics design experience, preferably with hand-held devices
• Good knowledge of analogue circuits and how to interface them to microcontrollers
• Experience with power management circuits for battery operated hand-held devices
• Experience in good design practice to meet EMC/ESD requirements
• Fluency in spoken and written English is a must
