For one of our clients in Tessenderlo, we are looking for a YOUNG GRADUATE APPLICATIONS ENGINEER.
Job Description
Product:
- Do the validation of a new IC to prove that the product works perfect in the application;
- Make datasheet, application notes, evaluation board, reference designs to get a short design-in-cycle at the customer;
- Build application know-how to understand customer needs and provide better solutions;
- Provide technical training of our products to customers and sales people;
- Understand and define tools to develop software and to program IC’s in production;
- In case of customer returns, analyze the quality problem in the application, support our project and quality team to find a solution, communicate timely with the customer.
Customer Support / Opportunity Support:
- Visit customers, identify the right Melexis product to get the best customer solution;
- Bring a new customer opportunity from lead to design-win with your team;
- Keep customer contacts after design-win to check implementation or quality issues;
- Share know-how with your collegues on customer solution, market trends, competition.

- Engineering degree in electronics;
- Fluency in English, others customer languages are a plus;
- Maximum three years of experience;
- Prepared to travel to customers regularly and to work internationally (30-40%);
- Commercial affinity and listening skills;
- Business skills learning potential;
- Strong interest in technology;
- Some embedded software affinity.
