Scientist (m/f) Job Description

With the view to strengthen our Material Development Department, we have two immediate openings for the position of a Scientist (m/f), located in Contern.

Main responsibilities include:
Developing and implementing new functional materials and technologies
Cooperating with external scientific and commercial partners

Scientist (m/f) Job Requirements

The ideal candidate should meet the following requirements:

• A Masters degree or a PhD in either Physics or Chemistry
• An electro-technical background is an advantage
• Experience in interdisciplinary collaboration
• Highly-skilled in computer-aided research
• The ability to manage research projects with public funding
• Highly motivated to deliver innovative ideas and solutions
• Excellent communication skills
• Fluency in English is required. German and/or French is considered an asset
• Key skills: the ability to work autonomously in an international environment, creativity, team spirit and a pro-active attitude are imperative
