For the Static Equipment Department in Frankfurt, we are currently looking for a (Senior) Engineer for Computer-Aided Stress Analysis and Design of Static Equipment (m/f)
Your main responsibilities:
- Preparation of computer-aided stress analyses of plant components according to the relevant European and international codes and standards
- Preparation, optimization and review of plant concept variants for the bidding phase, project execution and equipment development
- Assistance in the analysis and solution finding process in the case of incidents or damage
- Presentation and advocating of the results in this field to public authorities and customers as well as support of our sales team
- Extension of know-how based on the exchange of experience and cooperation with in-house disciplines and the Air Liquide Engineering Centers worldwide
(Senior) Engineer for Computer-Aided Stress Analysis and Design Job Requirements
Your profile:
- Successfully completed engineering studies in the field of mechanical engineering
- Professional experience in the above field with an internationally oriented company preferable, but not a must
- Extensive knowledge in ASME, EN codes and standards as well as numerical mathematics (calculation methods)
- High commitment, teamworking skills as well as tructured and independent working style
- Business fluency in English
- Excellent DP knowledge and experience with computer-aided stress analyses (e.g. ANSYS, Microprotol, Compress)
- Mobility and willingness to travel
