Heating Engineer / Process Engineer Job Description

Our client is a well known company in the heat exchange technology in Hessen and part of a larger company group. Its core business is distribution, process- and detail engineering and services like  manufacturing of heat exchangers for power plant construction. For the further expansion of their business activities, they are looking for a thermal engineer / process engineer as a team player in a motivated team and a dynamic work environment. The required employee reports directly to the management.
 

• Implementation of customer specifications in creation / design of equipment and containers.
• Plausibility considerations including critical analysis and assessment of customer requirements.
• Close cooperation with the departments of sales, construction and manufacturing.
• Support for the tendering process and quotations.
• Support in negotiations with customers.
• Standardization and modularization of products from a cost perspective.
• Implementation of development projects with external partners such as universities and research institutes.
• Product development in the area of ​​waste heat systems.

Heating Engineer / Process Engineer Job Requirements

• Completed a degree in Engineering or comparable professional training
• Experience in the field of engineering / pressure vessel would be advantageous, but also young professionals are welcome.
• Good MS Office skills
• Good understanding of technical relationships among cost considerations
• Strong analytical skills
• Personal initiative, passion for innovation, independent working
• Team and customer focus
• Decision making, communication skills, reliable/confident 
• Quality, scheduling and service awareness
• Technical English
