Project Manager Automotive (m/f) Job Description

Our client is a renowned and globally positioned automotive supplier with a diversified product range. The company continues to grow. As part of the capacity expansion, we have a vacancy for a project manager at the site in Niedersachsen, for thermal management to take care for two
OEM's. In this position you support multiple client projects in the automotive sector as well as suppliers along the product development process. As a technology leader, our client offers an interesting challenge in an international environment with technological innovations, comprehensive training and internal training opportunities.

Tasks: 

• Managing customer projects in the field of thermal management for the automobile motor cooling at two locations in Germany and abroad
• Active support for two OEM's (Ford and GM) 
• Responsibility for planning, execution and control of multiple projects in design, validation, cost, schedule, quality, APQP
• Lead interdisciplinary teams: project management, schedule, resource control, project communication and reporting, modification and claim management
• Support of key account manager in the development and Implementation of projects
• Close coordination and support of various projects with global sister companies

Project Manager Automotive (m/f) Job Requirements

Requirements:

• Bachelor / Master degree in Engineering
• Expertise in plastics engineering
• Experience in project management and APQP (ideally in the Automotive industry)
• CAD user skills
• IT user skills, MS Office including MS Project
• First work experience desirable
• Fluent German and English, French an advantage
• Independent, methodical and responsible way of working
• Pronounced social and communication skills in dealing with clients and colleagues
• Enforcement strength, resilience
• Flexibility and willingness to travel
