THE ROLE  
This position is in the cutting-edge of automotive technology. Vehicle manufacturers are now moving their focus more and more to automatic systems. This opportunity is a design position in automotive radar development. The candidate would need to be enthusiastic, dedicated and have an excellent work ethic.

The DAS team is responsible for the design of radar based systems for automotive vehicles. This includes passenger car and heavy goods vehicles. These systems are micro-processor based using DSP functionality to interpret the data from the RF circuits.  


WHAT YOU'LL DO                   
This position encompasses the whole of the life cycle from requirements analysis to system test. As part of the DAS team, the successful applicant will be expected to liaise with customers, define what is required and produce algorithms to fulfil the requirement.  

• Contribute to or technically lead the capture, analysis, specification and design of systems algorithms
• Contribute to or  produce documentation, models and code
• Produce novel solutions for customers for control, signal processing and other algorithms
• Be a member of the DAS Engineering Design Group reporting to the Group Leader

ALGORITHM DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER - DRIVER ASSIST SYSTEMS Job Requirements

ESSENTIAL:

• Degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline
• Demonstrated ability in design and development of control algorithms
• Demonstrated ability in requirements analysis and design
• Experience with micro-processor based systems
• Familiar with Matlab and Simulink
• Experience in embedded software design

• Experience in automotive electronic development
