Design Kit Development (DKD), part of NXP’s Central R&D Organization, is responsible for timely providing Design Kits and consultancy for all technologies, enabling the IC-design community to develop new products in the area of High Performance Mixed Signal CMOS-technologies, RF-, High Voltage-, Power Circuit- and Mainstream technologies. The Design Kits are used throughout NXP and are build, supported and maintained based on both internal as external technologies.
About the Job
The Physical Design Kit Engineer will work in project teams responsible for implementing, maintaining, enabling and giving support on the process design kits. The work covers a wide range of activities e.g. making technology set-up for design tools, developing the code that describes Design Kit components, qualifying the Design Kits, enabling new tool features and more. Your main responsibilities includes the development, qualification and support of Design Kits.
About you
NXP is looking for candidate who has a Master or Bachelor design in Electronics Engineering with experiences in chip development applications, in Digital, Mixed-Signal, RF and/or High Voltage Domain. He/she should have have skills and affinity with design tools, and in software development, data processing, and computer engineering. As for soft skills, candidate should be a team worker with good communication skills, and willing to work in international and multi-disciplinary teams.
