The Video and Imaging Engineering Design (VIED) group of our client develops complete camera and video subsystem IP consisting of a combination of a multi-core processing platform, imaging and video firmware, and control software. Our clients are operating out of multiple sites, with R&D teams working out of The Netherland, Finland, Serbia, Japan, USA and India.
About the Job
As a Tools Engineer, you will contributes to the development of Video and Imaging Engineering Design's unique set of hardware-software co-development tools. The focus of this position is on the instruction scheduling for VLIW cores. The job involves the development and maintenance of the instruction scheduler, and research into new scheduling algorithms and heuristics. You will also be responsible for the development and maintenance of the instruction scheduler.
About You
Candidate should posses Master or PhD degree in Computer Science or related fields. He/she should have good software architecture skills, experience with C++/Linux, software engineering skills, affinity with algorithms and abstraction, experience with both imperative and functional programming paradigms and more.
