Sales Engineer (m/f) Job Description

In support of our customer’s project team, we are looking for a: Sales Engineer (m/f)

Our facility is the location of one of our strategic engineering centers. These facilities provide a range of capabilities including in vehicle testing of air conditioners, climatic and acoustic chambers, component test benches and a state of the art wind-tunnel. This center also specializes in prototype preparation and is the location of our European material testing laboratory and the home of our European Technical Research team.

What we expect from you:

• Responsible for the technical and commercial consulting on specific customers to support the realization of agreed targets for increasing sales, profit and customer satisfaction.
• Work closely with the customer capturing their requests, requirements and expectations.
• Support the development of product sales strategies and take care of their implementation.
• Introduce our products to the customer during project acquisition and structure sales plans and coordinate the necessary tasks in terms of offer preparation and commercial negotiations.
• Responsible for the development of an effective customer relationship and support the key account management.
• Work within an international and highly diverse and multi-cultural organization on a day-to-day basis.

Sales Engineer (m/f) Job Requirements

Your Profile:

• Passion for technical products
• Technical university degree or an education of business economics with interest in vehicle technology
• Experience working preferably in the automotive (supplier) sector, but highly motivated career starters are also welcome
• Product and system knowledge in the field of vehicle air conditioning
• Comfortable working independently and in teams
• Demonstrate strong analytical, communication and negotiation skills
• Highly self-motivated and able to take initiative
• Very good level of English and German (written and verbal)
• You will be expected to undertake regular business travel
