Approba mediates specialists / professionals with at least 3 years work experience, middle management, senior management and executives. Specialists / professionals with less than 3 years work experience are serviced by our sister orgisation Head-Starters.
The organization develops and assembles PVD and PACVD coating installations. Because of the way of working in projects, every employee will be involved in the full process, from design to installation. Our machines operate e.g. with vacuum, sputter and arc evaporation technologies and they are built customer specifically, which makes all jobs challenging and varied.
What characterises this job?
As a Field Service Engineer you will be responsible for solving problems, performing maintenance and installing upgrades at customers sites worldwide. You see it as a challenge to keep customers satisfied. Besides giving good service that also means providing the customer in a correct knowledge transfer and being a good listener towards the customer. Subsequently you give feedback to your own colleagues concerning specific customers wishes and technical developments. When you aren’t occupied with service tasks, you will assist your colleagues from the Customer Support department and when necessary the Production department. You will report to the Manager Customer Support.
