Process Engineer
The organization develops and assembles PVD and PACVD coating installations. Because of the way of working in projects, every employee will be involved in the full process, from design to installation. Our machines operate e.g. with vacuum, sputter and arc evaporation technologies and they are built customer specifically, which makes all jobs challenging and varied.
The role
You will be actively involved in the development of coatings and the engineering of equipment for customers. Producing and optimizing coatings for specific applications is an important task. This can vary from producing coatings on customer request to development of new coatings using our latest technologies. As a Process Engineer in machine projects, you will be responsible for machine performance. This means the machine must be capable of mass production with a specified coating quality. In this role, you will specify the demands from process engineering side, optimize the machine to produce specified coatings according to contract and give process training to the customer. Finally you will travel to the customer’s location for acceptance of the
machine and assist the customer in the start of production. You will be part of the Process Engineering department, a team of 11 colleagues in Venlo and 2 in Asia. Your work in the product teams for tribological, tool, and decorative coatings will be supervised by the Process Managers Tribo, Tool or Deco.
