Scientist for Downstream Process Development of Pharmaceutical Products
We offer a temporary position for a scientist (2 years) within pharmaceutical and industrial enzyme process development in Recovery Development (RD) at Novozymes A/S. RD is responsible for downstream process development (recovery and purification) including process scale-up and tech transfer to the relevant production sites all over the world. The products handled in the department include industrial enzymes as well as new biopolymers for pharmaceutical applications. The department consists of 30 skilled employees working in lab and pilot scale in Novozymes largest Recovery Pilot facility located in Bagsværd, Copenhagen.
Challenges
We offer you an exciting position within pharmaceutical recovery and purification process development, up-scaling and transfer of processes to our production facilities. Your main task will - as part of a project team - be characterization study of the process parameters for a newly developed biopolymer. You will also participate in the process scale up and tech transfer to our cGMP production site in China. You will work in cross functional project groups with scientists from e.g. fermentation and formulation development as well with colleagues in production.
