Senior MES Engineer Job Description

As a Senior MES Engineer you develop and configure software for MES applications and projects within the agreed scope and project planning. Monitor, evaluate and improve the engineering process.

• Design of hardware / software architecture for MES applications in an industrial production environment, and also LAN networks
• Designing functional reports and graphic displays for process monitoring Configuration of MES software packages together with real-time data archiving servers (including OSI PI System)
• Intensive cooperation between Sales, Support and other engineers of the MES group, in addition to cooperation with third parties in the area of process automation
• Documentation of the solutions offered
• Assist in the preparation of engineering project proposals
• Assist PM by monitoring budget and planning
• Assist in startup and commissioning activities of customers
• Give feedback to improve in the development of engineering / application standards and engineering tools

Senior MES Engineer Job Requirements

• At least 5 years experience in Project Services
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent level in related field
• A valid driver license Computer Literate (MS Office, MS developer tools and MS server products)
• Excellent Software programming skills
• Extensive knowledge of software and operating systems
• Good working knowledge of network architectures
• Verbal and written communication skills fluent in Dutch and English
• Willingness to work at customer site for a limited period of time
