Application Engineer Job Description

They are one of the world's leading producers of conveyor components. The comprehensive product portfolio includes chains and belts, bearings, leveling pads and other conveyor components. Customers are active in Food & Beverage, Can making, Glass manufacturing, Corrugated and Automotive industry. Can you handle technical complaints and can you make sure that customers are happy with their products?

As an Application Engineer you will be responsible for:

• Being a source of information about product application issues for colleagues, distributors and customers;
• Creating tools, presentations and training material;
• Visiting customers and distributors to introduce new products, discuss applications and support Sales;
• Handling technical complaints, including on site visits;
• Giving feedback to Engineering and Production based on practical experiences.

Application Engineer Job Requirements

As an Application Engineer you will have the following qualifications:

• A technical education or mechanical engineering;
• Fluent in English and at least one other language;
• Knowledge of more languages is a big plus;
• Experience (e.g. 2-5 years) in a technical environment;
• Experience in a food and beverage environment is a plus;
• Skilled in Microsoft Office products, including Powerpoint;
• Currently living in the Netherlands, no relocation.
