Product Engineers (m/f) Job Description

The Department:
The Engineering Dairy Equipment department is responsible for the continue developing of robotic milking systems, feeding systems and other products. The Department consists of a group of very practical engineers, a workshop and Test Department, who can build directly the developed concepts and test these in practice. As part of this team you get self responsibility to develop a number of new products that are, or should be developed on the basis of existing concepts.

Because of strong growth of the organization we are looking for the Engineering Department Dairy Equipment multiple Product Engineers (m/f), (40 hours, location, Rotterdam).

The function:
As a Product Engineer you are responsible for the technical design of a machine or (sub) system. You work with a large degree of autonomy you work on constructive details of new designs and you supervise the testing of your designed constructions.

Main activities:

• The development and progress of machines, systems and solutions on the basis of established specifications;
• The delivery of a properly and well-organized drawings package;
• The delivery of other information on the basis of which repurchased and produced can be optimally;
• Resolving defects in the design of new and existing products;
• Establish and maintain the construction file.

Product Engineers (m/f) Job Requirements

Your background:

• A completed Bachelor/Master degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent);
• Preferably several years work experience in a similar function;
• Experience with a 3D-CADsysteem (preferably Pro-E);
• Analytical ability and a pro-active working attitude;
• Flexibility and result orientation;
• Excellent English and Dutch language skills;
• Affinity with the sector is an advantage.
