The Engineering Knowledge Services - EKS - is involved in the development, support, training and maintenance of the software used by application- and development engineers. Currently EKS is the owner of 13 different software packages, all developed internally by SKF. These software tools range from very advanced, capable of simulating complete mechanical systems, to expert systems for bearing damage analysis and tools for basic application engineering studies. EKS, with his 11 highly skilled engineers, provides services to the users of the knowledge and simulation software packages used in the engineering community in SKF.

Job description:
You will work in a fast growing and dynamic environment of 11 highly skilled engineering professionals in fields as CAD-design, Finite Element Analysis, software development, and software testing. You will work together with colleagues in the Engineering Knowledge Services team in Gothenburg, Sweden, in Schweinfurt, Germany, and in Bangalore, India, as well as your colleagues in the software development and testing teams in Bangalore, and the software development team in Nieuwegein, the Netherlands.
You will be located in Schweinfurt and functionally you will be part of the global EKS organization, managed by Peter Frijlink. Your main responsibilities will be, but not limited:
