We are looking to recruit a team of Designers to support a key package of work with a client. As an integral member of a multi-functional team you will be responsible for producing design solutions from a conceptual or detailed perspective for engine systems, base engine components, sub-systems, under-bonnet packaging and/or engine to vehicle installations.
Working for a global leader in automotive you will be involved in a diverse range of projects from internal products through to external OEM requirements. Using solid modelling and detailed techniques in Catia V5 or ProE Wildfire you will be responsible for producing designs in line with company standards.
You will complete necessary calculations associated with the designs and any GD&T, working closely with internal teams in development, calibration and build & test.
With powertrain and base engine design knowledge you will have demonstrable experience modelling engine components, systems, castings, and under bonnet packaging whilst having an appreciation of heat management and dynamic clearances within such systems.
Due to the nature of the project we are looking for 4 ProE Wildfire Designers and 1 Catia V5 (ideally with Windchill PDM experience).
