Stress & Structural Analysis / Structural Design Job Description

Forming a large part of the engineering capabilities within our organisation, Stress & Structural Analysis / Structural Design are multi-functional areas that support the development and continuous improvement of high-performance, cost effective airframe structures.   Right now is a defining time for EADS companies, which means an excellent opportunity for you to join us and help shape the future direction of our business.  

We are currently looking for Engineers and Technicians at all levels in the following disciplines:

• Stress & Structure Analysis
• Structural Design

Stress & Structural Analysis / Structural Design Job Requirements

Skills and experience required

• Degree or equivalent qualification in Aeronautical Engineering or similar field of study
• Experience in one or more of the following areas;
•        metallic and composite structures, stress analysis and / or design
•        fatigue and damage tolerance
•        linear and non-linear, static or dynamic FEA/FEM
• Knowledge of one or more of the following software;
•        Catia V4, Catia V5, NASTRAN/PATRAN, SAMCEF, HYPERMESH, FEMAP
