Job description
As Head of Industrialisation at Airbus Netherlands you are responsible for the (further) development and implementation of the company’s industrialisation strategy and for defining the objectives together with the industrialisation team of appr 10 people in several disciplines. These are: manufacturing engineering, industrial architecture, work preparation and operational support. Together you design and secure the implementation of technologies, competences, working standards, procedures and manufacturing requirements to optimize production lines for manufacturability, lowest cost and minimum risk in the supply chain.
The space industry is rapidly changing: focus on manufacturability and further cost reductions are key for our success, while broadening our range of activities from engineering and integrating one ofs and small series only to engineering and production for higher volumes too. We serve both institutional and commercial customers with diverse needs and different paces. You are able to excel in a complex and challenging environment being able to switch gears between different requirements, cultures, customers, technologies and speed. You will report directly to the Director Operations.

For the role of Head of Industralisation we seek an empathetic bridge builder who is able to listen well and connect the inputs from technical teams to the business side of our projects, who understands the relevance of dialogue and who quickly finds his/her way in a changing and complex business environment. Obviously you have great affinity with technology, manufacturability and cost optimization.
