Introduction to the job
Ensure that the Analytics software of ASML’s of Semiconductor Applications meet the demands our external customers while providing ASML’s development teams with the required architectural flexibility to support both current and future products efficiently.
Role and responsibilities
While ASML is mostly known for its complex scanners used in semiconductor manufacturing, a just as complex, software driven, business is developing fast.
The Business Line Applications develops software that enables our customers to improve their processes at the factory (fab) level. The business line is growing fast and is generating a significant part of ASML’s revenue. Our applications provide significant accuracy gains in the process setup phase and the high volume manufacturing phase.
The Applications products are created by a team of several hundred software developers working in Agile/Scrum through SAFe. They take full responsibility for their part of the product, including requirements engineering, design, development, test and customer rollout.
Within our business the Analytics software suite is a crucial tool set. The software provides functions to collect, analyze and view data generated by both ASML’s systems and other systems in the customer fab. The software includes complex algorithms, data processing and data presentation components. Usability and a good User Experience are important success factors for customers to adopt our software and our goal is to excel on these aspects.
Education and experience
MSc / PhD in e.g. Physics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics (or similar technical background).
Skills
As the Product Architect for Analytics Software you ensure that the Analytics tools form a coherent suite. You help to set up a product vision, together with marketing, system engineering and domain experts. You are co-responsible for defining the product and its roadmap. You analyze user requirements, map it on the product design, and transform these into a software architecture that provides the flexibility to grow.
