Project Information Manager m/f Job Description

The Project Information Manager remains the focal point for all communication between Client, Subcontractors, Vendors and Technip regarding Information Management subjects. He or she is responsible for Organizing and supervising the information data flow within a project.  

Hierarchically reports to: Project Management Department
Operationally reports to: Engineering Department
Key interactions (internally, externally): Project Management Team & Operating Centres,
Client, Subcontractors, suppliers and fabricators.

Main responsibilities

Organizing and supervising the information data flow within a project to ensure the availability of general information throughout the project team and specific technical information to dedicated project members or disciplines. PIM shall ensure maximum quality but also identify effects on project costs and project schedule.

- Preparing the Pro procedures which shall be used by all parties (Project Management team
  & Operating Centres, Subcontractors, Suppliers and Fabricators) for the performance of the
  works.
- Implementing the PIM Management Plan during all phases of the project.
- Managing all Project PIM activities during the Project and Documents for Operations.
- Implementing SmartPlan Foundation and interfaces to authoring tools suite.
- Managing the team dedicated to PIM activities.

Qualifications & knowledge

- Graduate degree (Engineering) with well-foundet IT skills
- First experience in Project Management
- Very good command of the German and English language, verbally and in writing
