Placements at ARM
At ARM we offer summer placements across our business enabling you to build the key skills needed for future employment by learning about the world of work. You will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects that will challenge you and help develop your abilities.
Internet of Things
By 2015 over 50Bn devices are forecast to be connected to the internet, many of them embedded invisibly in our environment. Understanding the applications that will drive this surge in pervasive computing is key to building the products, services and ecosystems that will enable it.
ARM’s Internet of Things Lab is a small but growing team embedded in the Research & Development division, located in Cambridge UK. We conduct application-led research and product development aimed at making ARM the architecture of the IoT world.
Do you have the vision and ability to help ARM create the future?
We are seeking a highly motivated student to work on research projects in the world of connected devices and distributed systems. In particular, you will work on device drivers for Bluetooth Low Energy System-on-Chips and help develop low power IP stacks for the IoT.
We don’t expect you to have done this before, so your ability and enthusiasm to enter new fields and learn new technologies is as important to us as your previous experience.
We are looking for someone able to start this summer.
