Takeda Pharma A/S is looking for an upstream/downstream laboratory technician. The position is placed under the CMC Center Roskilde function, which is responsible for pharmaceutical-technical development of new products and product-improvements. Within this function a department of 17 people are in charge of pharmaceutical development of in-licensed and internally developed biopharmaceutical and pharmaceutical products. In this department, a dedicated biologics substance group is working with the development of upstream/downstream processes for proteins/peptides and monoclonal antibodies. We work closely together with CMO´s/CRO´s for the manufacturing process development. For that area we have a need for a skilled and experienced technician that can participate in drug substance process development in our recently established upstream and downstream laboratory. In the upstream lab we are working with Sartorius Biostat B plus bioreactors with capabilities of on-line measurement of biomass- and glucose-concentration. In the downstream lab we are primarily working with Millipore Cogent filtration systems and Äkta avant purification systems.
