Optical Engineer Job Description

The validation of the ambilight system integrated in a TV environment;
The evaluation and release of the main optical building blocks from the optical system in close cooperation with the multidisciplinary ambilight team;
The achievement of the optimal viewing experience of the ambilight system in close cooperation with the ambilight optical experts and commercial department by
o   Using simulation tools and dedicated professional optical measuring systems;
o   Improving the ambilight system performance according the remarks of the optical experts;
o   Using specific checklists and test plans according the latest used technology and design;
o   Making status and optical evaluation reports;
o   Setting up and giving transparent demonstrations.

·       The setup of tests and alignment instructions for industry together with engineering;
·       The release of the color alignment procedure in production;
·       The analysis of measurements and factory process data. You will support the follow-up of field problems and the service organization. You will also support specific assignments.

Optical Engineer Job Requirements

• You obtained a technical diploma (Bachelor or Master Degree);
• Working experience in optics or optical knowledge is a plus;
• You have good communication skills;
• You are a team player and able to work in a multidisciplinary team;
• You have good analytical skills and have a hands-on mentality;
• You are proficient in English in word and writing.
