In Wilton, CT, ASML seeks GlobalSupport Center (GSC) Engineer 1 to solve technical issues arising at customersites, remotely analyzing data and creating deterministic forward-thinkingaction plans; travel to customer site when not able to solve problem remotely;escalate to the next support level according to committed escalation processesand timing; facilitate escalations from the continental GSC’s (Asia/EU) towardthe Factory (D&E, IE, manufacturing, etc.); identify, secure and supportthe rollout of improvements for installed base machines; during New ProductIntroduction (NPI) phase, be assigned to the project in order to gain skillsand knowledge to independently support field escalations; transfer and shareskills and knowledge within worldwide GSC to establish and maintain equalcontinental GSC support teams; support onsite introduction phase by deliveringknowledge/escalation handling to local organization; mentor trainees anddeliver feedback on potential improvements; proliferate knowledge to fieldorganization; integrate background information concerning the problem and thesolutions in action/repair plans; and combine on-site support with knowledgetransfers to local organization. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely-related field,experience working with and understanding issues in the lithographicsemiconductor manufacturing process; familiarity with MS Office products,MATLAB/MATHCAD, LabVIEW, Unix, Linux, and Python; knowledge of electronics,mechanics, pneumatics, optics, hydraulics, software and related disciplines;and up to 25% domestic and international travel required.
