CSCM Supply Chain Professional Job Description

Introduction
Supply Chain Professional is a high impact role in a high tech supply chain. We are looking for an ambitious talent who can support ASML’s aggressive growth, while realizing our ‘cost down, quality up’ roadmap for After Sales supply chain processes. You will be responsible for managing performance of one of our regions (e.g. Taiwan, Korea or US) and drive continuous improvements across ASML’s After Sales supply chain. Job Description
  • Ensure EUV supply chain performance at optimal cost levels for a specific region of the world;
  • Initiate and drive continuous improvement to optimize availability and logistical costs;
  • Be the linking pin on supply chain topics between departments across ASML;
  • Manage your KPIs on costs and availability; drive improvements with local organization and drive adherence to business policies intervene if needed;
  • Be the 3rd line support for escalations: resolve complex escalations in alignment with the Business Line, Customer Service and other supply chain departments;
  • Manage site readiness / ramp readiness;
  • Increase transparency on costs, cost drivers and efficiency gains;
  • Lead projects that enable a breakthrough in performance;
  • This role is located in ASML’s headquarter in Veldhoven. Travel ~10%.

CSCM Supply Chain Professional Job Requirements

Education
Relevant Master degree, e.g. Industrial Engineering & Management Science, Business Administration, Supply chain or Engineering

Experience

  • 10 years of first-hand experience in high tech supply chain management or ~ 5 years at a top tier consultancy firm with relevant project experience;
  • Excellent professional communication in English and Dutch;
  • Experience with Lean, Green/Black Belt is a plus;
  • SAP knowledge is a plusPersonal skills-Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Change management skills;
  • Analytical;
  • Decision making skills;
  • Attention to details and big picture thinking;

Context of the position
The Customer Supply Chain Management (CSCM) team is responsible for meeting service level agreements (SLAs) with customers. System downtime costs customers up to a million USD per day so SLAs are extremely tight. Downtime waiting for parts and tools is limited to as little as 20 minutes per system per week. CSCM manages such challenges in a global network with thousands of unique spare parts and delivers true customer satisfaction through differentiated and affordable supply chain services.

ASML’s aggressive time-to-market strategy and increasing system functionality means machines are often upgraded during their lifetime. CSCM’s highly educated workforce drives planning and execution of e.g. commercial upgrades, field change orders, machine shipments and transfers. You will be part of the EUV team that is in a steep ramp up with challenging targets of costs and availability per system. You will enable CSCM to be successful in this challenging environment and deliver upon the CSCM 2022 roadmap.
