Mechanical Engineer Job Description

Main tasks are:

• Development of designs:
• Devising and determining the physical background, operation and configuration of gas turbine components;
• Making proposals for design improvements of turbine components and developing these;
• The design of tools and machines;
• Performing or having performed and interpreting measurements on samples as a basis for one's own design;
• Making designs, detailed drawings, assembly drawings, parts lists and associated registration;
• Designing and detailing of 3D models;
• Working (project-based) on new tools and parts;
• independently leading design projects and the realization of parts and constructions.
• There is communication with:
• Engineering, co-design engineers, product specialist, production and QA regarding construction drawings.
• Supply for orders;
• Manager Design, Project Leaders with regard to feedback on the progress of projects and solving problems in the field of drawing / construction;

Mechanical Engineer Job Requirements

Bachelor Mechanical Engineering/ Bachelor Aeronautics and Space Technology/ Bachelor Mechatronic Engineering Knowledge:

• Siemens Unigraphics NX;
• PC, measuring tools (caliper, Faro arm, GOM software and the like), Microsoft office, FEM;
• Rotation materials systems;
• Work is performed taking into account internal and external procedures (QAPs, ISO9001, ISO / NEN / DIN standards in the field of drawing) or at the request of the Design Manager.
