Job Mission
Under direct supervision, facilitates the receipt, verification, computer transaction and physical movement of all inventory and non-inventory items.  Transports material to other facilities as required. 

Job Description
Receives and counts incoming deliveries from suppliers, verifying for accuracy. Conducts daily Cycle counts of inventory.Uses computer system to conduct inventory transactions.Files documentation in accordance with department procedures.Stocks, counts, and pulls parts from inventory to fill orders needed for manufacturing and customers.Packages parts for shipment. Processes orders for shipment to suppliers and customers.Loads and offloads trucks by forklift. Performs other duties as assigned.

Material Handler Job Requirements

Education
High school diploma or general education degree (GED).

Experience

• Requires minimum of four (2) years of experience; may have fewer years of experience with a degree.
• Experience in a warehouse environment preferred.
• Must be able to unload trucks via forklift and pallet jack.
• Ability to work with hand and power tools (impact wrench, drill, hammer, etc.)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to translate, statistically analyze data, and effectively report problems through written and/or graphical formats.
• Excellent customer service skills, with an understanding of customer relationship building.Ability to use MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Oracle, and electronic e-mail systems.
