Job Mission
As Sr. Production Manager EF System Integration and Upgrades, your mission is to realize ‘World Class’ production in order to ensure product quality, short lead-times and ‘short time to market’ by continuous improvement of ASML’s existing products and processes in the EF System Integration and Upgrades department. Also, you have full business responsibility for module/subsystem integration (FASY = Final Assembly) and realizing on time shipments (PrePack) while securing the fact that we need to realize our quality standards at all times.
In addition, you continuously drive for structural and operational improvements in the area’s of Safety, quality,
On Time Delivery, cost Effectiveness and Flexibility. Finally, you provide a great and challenging place to work for all the people in System Integration and Upgrades.
Job Description
The Sr. Production Manager EF System Integration and Upgrades is responsible for the following:
-Safety: Ensure a safe working environment for all technicians at System Integration and Upgrades.
-Quality: Ensure the quality of the output of production: full spec products, effective production processes,
know how/training. Ensure continuous improvement of products and processes;
-Planning: Set up the output plan for all deliverables of System Integration and Upgrades within the constraints of the Manufacturing Plan;
-Output: Realize the planned output of all deliverables of production in line with the ASML Master Production Schedule.
-Support: Organize all supporting processes in order to be able to realize the deliverables in time, and to ensure a fast ramp up for volume and Customer Support;
-Infrastructure: Ensure infrastructure to assure effective and efficient production tasks. Ensure the availability and proper use of effective production and qualification procedures and systems;
-Management: Ensure adequate organization and staffing to realize production at optimized cost levels. Ensure proper execution of HRM policies and procedures. Coaches the team members, delegates tasks, sets priorities, solves problems and contributes to a productive working environment.
-Continuous Improvement: Continuously improve the System Integration and Upgrades operation in terms of processes, products and people capabilities. Drives improvement projects within the System Integration and Upgrades departments and EF and organizes opportunities for technicians to contribute and execute within projects that contribute to the realizing the EF Manufacturing Operations mission and vision.
Education
Bachelor or Master degree in a technical discipline or industrial/business engineering.
Experience
-Knowledge and experience within (ASML) production environment;
-Lean Manufacturing;
-Continuous process improvement;
-Improvement team facilitation, 8D method (pre)
-Knowledge of quality improvement projects
-Experience in problem analyses of products and processes
-Change Management SkillsPersonal skills-Process way of thinking, (internal) customer orientation;

Context of the position
The EUV Factory (EF) is responsible for the manufacturing of an EUV system, including planning and logistics. The complete module assembly, final assembly and testing of the most advanced lithography machines takes place within the EUV Factory Veldhoven. Our mission is to deliver a fully qualified EUV system to our customers, on time and at the right cost.
Currently we are ramping up our factory towards volume production, which means we need to grow the teams, industrialize the product, reduce the cycle time and cost.
You directly manage a team of team leaders and Module Owners that work in a 2-shift environment.
Span of control approximately 160 FTE (9 FTE direct, 153 FTE indirect).
The Sr Production Manager System integration and Upgrades reports to the Sr. Director EF Manufacturing.
