Job Mission
We are looking for a highly motivated, hands-on technical individual to support our state of the art products. This position will be in our Platform PEG (Product Engineering Group) organization.
The Platform Product Engineering group is responsible for feasibility study of proposed new platform capabilities, software integration among product, defining use cases for new product feature proof data, writing Product Requirement Definition (PRD) for new features, feature qualification and acceptance tests.
The team works closely with software developers, marketing, sales, SQA, other PEG teams, and field organizations. Therefore this job provides a broad exposure to whole pictures of different products. PEG engineers play a key role in shaping and directing product growth and development. This job also provides excellent career development opportunities thanks to its broad work scope.
Job Description
As a member of the Platform Product Engineering team, you will be a key team player responsible for solving escalated platform issues from both customers and field application engineers, and assist with improving the deployment and integration of ASML’s Computational Lithography Software in customer environments. You will also assist in drafting technical documents, best practices, release notes, knowledge articles, and technical procedures that all constitute part of our knowledge transfer to customers.

Education
Master’s(MS) degree in Computer Science or Engineering
Experience
0-2 years of experience in the field of Electronic Design Automation as a user or a developer
Experience with high performance computing architecture and compute resource management
Knowledge of shell scripting and one or more of the following programming languages: Perl, Python, TCL
Capable to author clear documentation and easy-to-follow procedures
Personal skills
Ability to work independently and also effectively as a member of a team
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong problem solving skills and innovative thinking
Context of the position
This position primarily works in an office environment. It requires frequentsitting, standing and walking. Daily use of a computer is required. May stand for extended periods when facilitating meetings.
