What will you do as Lead Interaction Designer UI/UX?
A day in the life of...
You will start the day together with your team (3 fte) in the form of a standup where you determine the main priorities of that day. This results in a discussion about a critical concept on how to operate certain driver controls for the car. In your vision this could be one of the key innovative solutions. Which is why you and your team are putting so much effort into it. After you have determined the main priorities together with your team, you have a call with a partner that is developing the UI for Lightyear One. You support them with solving any blockers that might have occurred, so they can continue their work. After a healthy lunch you have an interview with a candidate to fill a new position for an interaction designer. You identified the need for the expansion of the design team together with the Chief Design. After a positive interview, the next meeting is with a new supplier visiting our office. You will review their technology and capabilities with a critical eye to assess if they can deliver the quality you deem necessary for our product’s user experience. To round things up, you sit down with a small engineering team to discuss the difficulties they have with implementing certain functionalities of which you believe are key to the user experience of the car.
