What will you do as Piping & Tubing Engineer?
A day in the life of:
In the morning you receive an updated hydraulic schematic of the car, you determine together with your colleagues that 5 new routes need to be implemented. You start thinking of different possibilities how to solve this issue and you create a selection matrix to provide insight of what the best theoretical solution would be. After a reinvigorating lunch in the Lightyear canteen you start constructing routing in 3D using CATIA. And you discuss the interfaces with other systems and with the thermal architect. You are analyzing difficult corners and junctions in the piping routes and trying to find the best possible solution looking at all the aspects. Your job will focus but are not limited to:
