Job Mission
As Architect of the availability team you are responsible for driving EUV source availability towards a stable and sustaining level. In this role you will be reporting on the performance of the install base as well as NPI, ensuring alignment within the programs to drive key availability metrics (MTBI/MTBF and MTTR).
Job Description
The Availability group is responsible for collection, analysis, reporting, and driving solutions for the world-wide EUV source fleet. The complexity of the EUV source puts exciting and challenging demands on the architect who will be member of the Availability group/project leadership team.
With the team located in both San Diego, CA and Veldhoven, The Netherlands, the position offers a unique opportunity to drive a virtual team. Provide direction towards development programs on availability performance;Serves as a technical expert for EUV source availability; Leads and mentors engineers and leads the development and integration of innovative data automation solutions to enable efficient analysis. Applies broad knowledge in hardware (sensors, design robustness, actuators, etc), software (controls, algorithms and automation logic) and data analytics to increase system availability. Applies in-depth knowledge of system identification techniques to understand the dynamics of plant under control and build appropriate dynamic models. Interacts with cross-functional groups (engineers and scientists, worldwide customer support personnel, manufacturing personnel, upper management, marketing, external customers). Crosses functional boundaries and builds constructive and effective relationships throughout the whole organization. Documents work results with, investigation reports, system requirements, design specifications, test plans, procedures, and training materials.
Education
Requires Minimum of BS in EE, ME, Comp Sci, Physics or equivalent.Advanced degree in relevant field is a plus.
Experience
Requires minimum of a Bachelors’ degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical, Chemical, Computer) or Physics or some other relevant technical area.MS, ME or PhD in engineering or physics preferred, specialization in control systems is a strong plus.
